And overnight pit stop to restock and reset before heading along the Great Ocean Road. Warrnambool, the home town of Rex Battarbee, Albert Namatjira’s friend and painting teacher. We found ourselves in an enormous beach side caravan park, a walk to the beach, toes in the crisp, cool ocean, playing in the sand. Sadly Alex’s phone dropped off the top of the car, lost, discovered an hour later, crushed, likely under the weight of a caravan. Kids and Alex embarked on a fun park adventure in the evening, dodgem cars, the Whizzer, ferris wheel and Poppy braved The Zipper by herself. Yeeeow!
