7 – 8 July. 18455kms.
Koa (Guwa) Country.
Classic waltzing Matilda waterhole. The ground was a bit wet, so all the big rigs pulled up close to the road, leaving Dad and I the best spot! Love our light Cub for that. Exciting to bush camp with Dad, who so generously offered to accompany and share the drive from Isa to Brizzy. He loves the changes in country – even where subtle – finds more joy in it than most. Chatted about the electric planet / electrification on the way too. Winton has dinosaur history but unfort we didn’t have time. Lovely old pubs in town (and all along the drive).
